Monthly Theme for November
SHEDDING THE SKIN
LOOSENING THE FOUNDATION
Bazi & Feng Shui Prediction – November 2016
The Yin Pig month (己亥) starts from 7th November signals the official arrival of the Winter season in an energetic sense. Energetically, this is when everything goes into hibernation and rest. It is the time to shed the old skin and cut loose what no longer serves you, make room to move forward and prepare for growth in the new cycle.
This is the time that Yin energy is at its peak: the Fire Element has faded and its positive influence and effects are no longer felt. The Fire Element is closely associated with the emotions of joy and optimism. As the Fire energy is fading, you will probably notice a shift in your energy level and a change of mood.
This month’s energetic theme also encourages us to release any negative emotions, such as blame, bearing a grudge, being judgemental, being owed, worries, anxiety and stress. These are blockages that keep us at a lower vibration and from being free to move forward.
2017 is a Yin Fire Rooster year. It will be a year when people will generally focus on their self-development. This month prepares us for a time of tremendous potential, of raising our consciousness and our up-levelling in the new cycle around. It can be painful during the process but the sense of achievement you feel afterwards will be most rewarding.
This energy force will shake anything that lacks core integrity, leading to a collapse so the awakening in the new cycle can take place. This month plants a seed to induce major changes.
General Outlook of the Month
As the Earth element is on top of the Water Pig, the energy line-up indicates that the foundation is not solid. It indicates instability, loosened ground and eventually the collapse of the Earth element.
This will be reflected in natural events such as landslides, flooding or earthquake, and also on the political scene, such as the US Presidential election on 8th November.
The timing for this election is inauspicious, regardless of the result. No matter who wins, there will be tension, anger and disapproval. It will likely to ignite some protests and be the start of an awakening of the American people.
Each month, I outline the energy dynamic so you can be aware of it, and therefore feel empowered. The aim of this is to heighten your awareness, ride the tidal waves, especially at difficult times. At the same time, actively seeking solutions to minimise the conflicting energy is the best strategy to manage any challenging times. Take advice of the below predictions or seek out a 1-on-1 Destiny Profiling session to pre-empt any major collisions.
November is a clash month for people who were born in the Year of the Snake 巳 (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989 or 2001). It is recommended to carry the pendant of a Tiger during this month to dissolve the clash. Stay away from potential conflict and learn to surrender.
If you were born in the Year or Day of Yang Fire 丙 or Yin Fire 丁, you will enjoy meeting plenty of helpful people and having fruitful opportunities and connections.
If you have Pig 亥 in your Destiny chart, November is a self-penalty month. Be gentle to yourself and learn to forgive. Be more mindful of health and relationships.
Pig 亥 is also the ‘travelling star’ for people who were born in the Year of the Snake, Rooster or Ox — who can expect some last minute travelling.
WOOD – If you are a Yang Wood 甲 and Earth is your favourable element, expect November to be a month that brings you solid financial gains or perhaps adding more property to your portfolio. There might also be some new opportunities at work that interest you. Just be mindful of your health: that you aren’t over-worked.
Others may find that this month is a great time to absorb some new knowledge and take up an interesting online course, or commit to a self-development project. Good for you!
FIRE – There is no ‘stop’ sign for Fire people this month and productivity continues to be the key theme. Your work and social schedule is jam-packed. Recognition and promotion are more likely, but the level of stress can be up too. Remember to breathe and take time out for yourself so you don’t become burnt out.
For female Fire people, relationships will be in focus. This can be positive or negative in a way. Be open to new ideas and new possibilities. Don’t forget that passion is what the Fire people does best.
EARTH – This month’s Yin earth energy is a lot gentler than last month, so things are looking up for Earth people in November. It is all about family, friends and making new connections.
There are some potential money-making opportunities, but you need to seize the day and follow your intuition. If you were born in the Year of the Tiger, some secret helpful people will show up at the most needed moment to smooth your path.
METAL – You are in your element this month. For Weak Metal people, you are full of ideas and November is a great month to try a new project. The Yin Earth energy is extremely nurturing for you.
For Strong Metal people, November brings needed relief. You will feel calmer and more vibrant. It is a great month to take care of your health and make sure that your body and soul are in alignment. Do something that can express your creativity such as painting or writing can take your mind off any worries.
WATER – There may be some life changes for Water people in November. It may be a change of position, location or industry, or even career. You might feel a bit pressured or taken over by unfounded anxiety. Have faith and confidence that things will turn out well. The petals are falling into the tree, not away from it. Everything is falling into place as it should be to support you. TRUST in the process.
Remember this is based on the general influence of the energy that affects each element during the month. An accurate prediction can only be obtained based on your full individual BaZi or Four Pillar of Destiny chart.
Flying Star Feng Shui Forecast**
In the month of November, the monthly Flying Stars will duplicate the annual flying star chart of 2016. This means what is auspicious will become great and what is inauspicious can potentially become a disaster.
The one to watch out for is the Sickness Star 2, which has been taking the centre stage this year and played an important role of some major health concerns around the globe such as the Zika virus.
Below is how my Feng Shui colleague Jen Stone described this ‘sickness star’ in her latest article:
“Many people are experiencing health scares, unexpected disturbances that are affecting the harmony of their health and relationships this year. While the length of the sickness energy is confined to this year only, the recovery depends on the individual person’s BaZi (good luck / bad luck) as well as the Feng Shui of their space. If both aspects are strong, then the health disturbance is a temporary one. Otherwise, it can be a life-altering event. In any case, the global impact of Flying Star 2 this year has made its presence known, one way or another. And it has a strong hold on various aspects of our overall wellbeing — physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually.”
If the centre area of your home or office is open and tends to have a lot of activity, you should double the remedies already in place to suppress the Yearly Star 2, such as a salt-water cure, a Calabash or 6-metal-coins.
If you or a family member are already suffering from health problems this year, it is of the utmost importance to get your bedroom assessed, to ensure you are sleeping in supportive flying stars, such as 8, 9 or 1, and avoid sleeping in the NE sector of your home this month — because the Misfortune Star 5 will be duplicated in this Sector. Cure the NE sector with a 6-metal-rod wind chime.
The SW sector continues to enjoy the incredible good luck in November. The stars are aligned for those whose front entrance or bedroom is located in this sector when the monthly flying star 8 is joining the annual flying star 8, to bring tremendous wealth and money luck to the residents. This combination is especially good for accumulating property, so this is a good time to invest in real estate. Spend more time in that area this month, plus you can activate this auspicious energy by placing a moving water feature.
The flying star 9 in the East sector brings fame, promotions and career luck for the residents who spend considerable there. As 9 represents Fire energy, be aware that this energy is particularly potent — so avoid activating this area with too much fire or it could lead to an accident caused by fire. Place a natural crystal here, to help reconcile the elements.
In summary, this is the month that you will feel the yearly energy most acutely. So tune in, heighten your senses and feel the vibration.
**Everything in the universe is an ever-changing affair, including the qualities of the energy surrounding the space we live in. Flying Star Feng Shui is the only school that takes into consideration the influence of time. Therefore it is one of the most complex, accurate and powerful forms of Feng Shui. Flying stars are so called because they fly with the movement of the days, months and years. It is therefore possible to pinpoint the movement of the energy.
To simplify an otherwise very complicated practice of Flying Star Feng Shui, in each monthly prediction I will point out where the benevolent energy is located and where there is negative energy that needs to be managed. It is essential to first know the inherent natal chart of your home, as this determines the nature of the annual flying stars as well as the monthly stars. Your home’s natal chart can only be provided by a qualified feng shui consultant. Blindly applying any enhancements or remedies suggested in this post could well have an adverse effect.
I wish you an enlightening and prosperous November!
